What legal action can AJJB Law take?
If this matter is not resolved the normal process is for a Letter before Claim (LBC) to be issued.
If payment or other agreement is not reached the next stage is the issue of a county court claim. This increases the amount to be paid by you because of court fees and recoverable legal costs.
For example, a £550 claim will have a further £140 added to it. There is a further £25 if judgment is obtained. As a result of court fees, a debt of £550 will result in a judgment of £715. It is therefore in you interests to resolve the payment of this debt before proceedings are issued.
