Can AJJB send bailiffs?
We really don’t want that to happen. Our main purpose is to get the debt resolved for our client, however if our client's claim can't be resolved and judgment is obtained against you, we can instruct the County Court Bailiff to come to your house and seek to remove goods.
If the debt is for over £600 and is not in relation to what is known as a "regulated debt" under the Consumer Credit Act, we can also instruct a High Court Enforcement Officer to attend at your property and seek to remove goods.
